안녕하세요 이케아 해커스의 아스키 입니다. 우리가 집에서 생활을 하면서 제일 밀접하게 필요한 가구는 어떤 것일까요? 저는 생각하기에는 테이블(식탁)이 아닐까 싶어요.
Hello, this is Ikea Hackers' ASCII. What kind of furniture do we need most in our home? I think it might be a table (d ining table).
우리가 식사를 하거나, 또는 책을 읽거나 아니면 일을 하거나 어디든 앉아서 무엇을 올려놓고 일을 해야 된다면 테이블 만큼 우리 생활에 밀접한 가구가 또 있을까요? 하지만 1인가구가 늘고 집의 면적도 큰 집보단 작은집을 선호하는 시대에 테이블 자체가 부담스러울 수 있을 겁니다. 왜냐하면 테이블은 보통 기본이 3인이상이 쓸 수 있는 테이블 크기가 많기 때문에 좁은 공간에서 사용하기엔 부담스러운게 사실이지요.
If we have to eat, read, work, or sit anywhere and work on something, what other furniture is as close to our life as a table? However, in an era when single-person households increase and people prefer small houses over large ones, the table itself can be burdensome. 벽에 부착해서 사용하는 테이블(식탁)
벽에 부착하는 테이블은 고정도 쉽고 수납할 수 있는 공간도 확보 되기 때문에 원룸에서 생활하는 분들에게 제일 인기있는 가구라고 합니다. 하지만 지지하는 다리가 매우 부실한 편이라 간단한 독서대로 활용 가능하고 다시 벽에 고정할때는 테이블위에 있는 물건들을 치워야 하므로 약간 번거롭다고 하네요.
The table attached to the wall is easy to fix and provides storage space, so it is said to be the most popular furniture for people living in a studio. However, the supporting legs are very weak, so it can be used as a simple reading table.

폴더형 테이블(식탁)
트랜스포머 테이블이라고도 불리며 최근 기성품도 많이 출시된 폴더형 테이블은 공간 활용성 높다는 장점이 있습니다. 일단 테이블 상판 자체가 일부 접히기 때문에 부분적으로 사용이 가능하며, 이동도 용이하기 때문에 벽에 부착하는 부착식 테이블보다 자유도가 높다는 장점이 있습니다.
하지만, 폴더형 테이블은 무게가 무거워서 이동시 쉽게 움직일 수 없는 단점이 있고, 폴더 상판 힌지에 불량이 많아 한번 고장이 난다면 사용하기 힘들어 폐기할 정도로 용도가 떨어지는 단점이 있습니다.

책장형 테이블(식탁)
책장형 테이블은 벽 부착형 테이블의 응용형이라고 생각하시면 편합니다. 하지만 좀 더 견고하게 제작되어져 있고 책장으로 쓸 수도 있기 때문에 활용성이 높은 장점이 있지요, 하지만 전에 말했던 견고한 힌지가 고장난다면 추가 비용이 만만치 않고, 책장을 올려놓은 공간들은 활용하기가 어려워 일부는 비워둬야 하는 단점이 있습니다.
It is convenient to think of a bookshelf table as an application type of a wall-mounted table. However, it is made more sturdy and can be used as a bookshelf, so it has the advantage of high usability.
