오늘은 이케아에서 준비한 따끈따끈한 2021년 가을 신상품을 소개하려고 합니다. 이케아는 지속적으로 새로운 제품을 소개해 왔는데요, 오늘은 이케아에서 준비한 몇 가지 대표적 신상품을 하나씩 같이 둘러보도록 해요.

Today, I would like to introduce a hot new product for fall 2021 prepared by IKEA. IKEA has been continuously introducing new products, and today, let's take a look around some of the representative new products that IKEA has prepared.

이케아에서 소노스와 협업하여 만든 쉼포니스크 스피커를 소개합니다. 일단 이 제품은 이케아가 직접 만든 제품은 아니고 소노스라는 음향업체를 통해 제작된 제품입니다. 소노스라고 하면 독자님들은 생소하게 느껴질 수 있겠지만, 미국이나 유럽에서는 유명한 네트워크 스피커 업체라고 할 수 있습니다. 2010년 중반에 조금은 생소한 무선 오디오 시장에 대중화를 이끈 글로벌 브랜드 이기도 합니다. (2010년 중반까지만 해도 무선 오디오 시장의 90%를 독식했으니깐 말이죠.) 하지만 현재 소노스는 오디오 시장에서 아마존과 구글에 밀려 무선 오디오 시장의 선두주자를 빼앗긴 상황입니다. 소노스는 그래서 가구시장의 공룡인 이케아와 협업을 통해 스마트홈 시장에 자연스럽게 녹아드려는 시도를 하는 것 같아요. 이케아도 온라인을 통한 IoT 기반의 제품을 출시하는 방향과 일맥상통하는 것 같습니다.
Introducing the siphonisque speaker created by IKEA in collaboration with Sonos. First of all, this product is not made by IKEA, but by a sound company called Sonos. Sonos may seem unfamiliar to readers, but it is a wellknown network speaker company in the US and Europe. It is also a global brand that led the popularization of the unfamiliar wireless audio market in mid-2010. (Until mid-2010, it monopolized 90% of the wireless audio market.) However, in the audio market, Sonos lost the number one position in the wireless audio market by losing to Amazon and Google. So, it seems that Sonos is trying to blend into the smart home market naturally through collaboration with IKEA, a dinosaur in the furniture market. IKEA seems to be in line with the direction of launching IoT-based products online.

쉼포니스크를 자세히 보면 정말 심플하기도 하고 약간은 부담스러운 크기에 구매를 고민하는 분들이 생길 수 있다고 봅니다. 하지만 스피커 자체로 봤을 때는 제 성능을 내기 위해서의 크기로 봐도 무리가 없다고 보고요 우리가 예전에 봐왔던 구글의 홈 미니 스피커나, 네이버 등 스마트 스피커 크기에 익숙해져서 오는 느낌이라 해도 무방할 것 같아요.
If you look closely at the symphony, I think there are some people who are thinking about purchasing it because it is really simple and a little burdensome. But in terms of the speaker itself, I think it's okay just looking at its size compared to its performance.

이케아의 쉼포니스크 스피커는 심플한 직사각형의 형태로 인해 수평 또는 수직으로 설치하거나 벽에 장착했을 때 공간을 효율적으로 사용할 수 있다고 이케아에서는 설명을 하고 있어요. 제품의 크기만큼 공간 전체를 채우는 풍부한 사운드는 소노스의 기술력으로 충분히 느껴질 수 있다고 봅니다.
Because of the simple rectangular shape of IKEA's Shimponisk speaker, Ikea explains that it can use space efficiently when installed horizontally or vertically, or when mounted on a wall. I think that the rich sound that fills the entire space as much as the size of the product can be felt enough with the technology of Sonos.

재질을 보면 이케아의 콘셉트에 맞게 비싼 재료를 이용해 제작해 보이진 않습니다. 스피커 앞쪽에는 볼륨 버튼과 재생 버튼이 위치해 있습니다. 버튼의 크기와 감촉은 나쁘지 않습니다.
Looking at the material, it doesn't look like it was made using expensive materials that fit the IKEA concept.
The volume and play buttons are located on the front of the speaker. The size and feel of the buttons are not bad.
상단에 소노스 브랜드와 이케아의 로고가 담긴 태그가 달려있는데요, 태그를 당겨보면 스피커 내부를 살펴볼 수 있도록 디자인이 되어 있습니다. 스피커 내부를 살펴보면 상단에는 덕트가 위치해 있고 하단에는 3인치 우퍼와 1.5인치 트위터로 구성되어 있음을 알 수 있습니다. (보통 덕트는 뒤쪽에 많이 위치해 있는데 약간은 기존 스피커와는 틀리게 위치해 있어서 신기했습니다. 아마도 책장이나 선반으로 이용하기 위해선 덕트가 위치한 공간이 밀폐되기 때문에 생각한 아이디어인 같았어요.)
here is a tag with the Sonos brand and IKEA logo on the top, and it is designed so that you can see the inside of the speaker when you pull the tag. If you look inside the speaker, you can see that the duct is located at the top and consists of a 3-inch woofer and 1.5 inch tweeter at the bottom. (A lot of ducts are usually located at the back, but it was a little bit different from the existing speakers, so it was strange. Perhaps it was an idea I thought of because the space where the duct is located is sealed to use it as a bookshelf or shelf.)
뒤쪽은 전원코드와 유선랜 포트가 달려있습니다. 아무래도 이 제품은 블루투스로 연결을 하는 게 아닌 네트워크 연결식 오디오라 따로 유선랜 포트가 달려 있는 것을 확인할 수 있네요. 아무래도 네트워크 연결식 오디오는 블루투스 오디오와 는 확연히 음질적으로 우위에 있기 때문에 스마트홈을 구축하는 분들에게는 좀 더 희소성 있는 제품으로 다가올 수 있을 것 같습니다.
The power cord and wired LAN port are attached to the back. Apparently, this product does not connect via Bluetooth, but rather network-connected audio, so you can see that it has a separate wired LAN port. Because network connected audio has a distinct superiority over Bluetooth audio in sound quality, it seems that it can come as a more scarce product for those who build a smart home.
코드 길이는 1.5m로 네트워크 오디오로 활용하기에는 매우 아쉬운 길이입니다. (이케아에서 3.5m 전선코드를 따로 판다고 하니 따로 구입이 가능한 점 참고하시면 좋을 것 같습니다.)
뒷면에 위치한 홀은 쉼포니스크 전용 브래킷과 연결할 수 있게 디자인되어 있습니다. 이 브래킷을 통해 쉼포니스크를 선반으로도 이용할 수 있고 여러 다양한 형태의 위치로 배치할 수 있는 장점이 있습니다.
The cord length is 1.5m, which is a very disappointing length to use as network audio. (Ikea sells the 3.5m wire cord separately, so it would be good to note that it can be purchased separately.) The hole located on the back is designed to connect with the Shimponisk dedicated bracket. The advantage of this bracket is that the shimphonisk can also be used as a shelf and can be placed in many different positions.
음질 | 소노스 원의 음질을 계승하다.
첫 글에도 말했듯이 이 제품은 이케아의 요청을 받아 소노스가 제작한 ODM 방식의 네트워크 스피커입니다. 말이야 이케아 제품이지 속과 겉은 모두 소노스의 기술력으로 제작된 제품이라 말할 수 있습니다. 그래서 그랬듯이 소너스 스피커는 원래 임질이 굉장히 좋기로 유명합니다. 특히 소노스 원이라는 제품은 어느 흠향 관련 사이트에서도 평점은 상위에 랭크될 정도로 훌륭한 사운드를 재생하는 무선 스피커로 알려져 있죠. 그래서 해외서 만큼은 인기가 많은 브랜드 군에 속하기도 합니다.
As I said in the first post, this product is an ODM network speaker manufactured by Sonos at the request of IKEA. It can be said that it is an IKEA product, and both the inside and the outside are made with the technology of Sonos. So, as was the case with Sonus speakers, they are known for being very good for gonorrhea. In particular, Sonos One is known as a wireless speaker that reproduces great sound to the extent that it ranks high in ratings on any sound related sites. 그래서 그렇듯 이 제품도 소노스의 기술력이 접해있고 10만원 초반대의 제품치곤 굉장히 만족스러운 음질을 제공하고 있습니다. 저역대에서 탄력이 살아있고, 중고역대 해상력은 매우 좋습니다. 특히 중음역대가 안정적으로 구성되어 있다는 점은 보컬의 목소리를 잘 살릴 수 있다는 장점이 있고, 팝이나 가요를 듣는 특히나 가수의 목소리를 더 가까이 듣고 싶은 분들에게는 매력적으로 다가올 수 있는 스피커라 할 수 있습니다.
As such, this product is also in contact with Sonos' technology and provides a very satisfactory sound quality for a product priced at 140,000 won. It has good elasticity in the low frequencies, and the resolution in the mid and high frequencies is very good. In particular, the fact that the midrange range is stable has the advantage of being able to make good use of the vocals' voice, and it can be said to be an attractive speaker for those who listen to pop or songs, especially those who want to hear the singer's voice more closely.
하지만 조금만 볼륨을 높이고 듣다 보면 치잘음 즉 치직거리는 소리가 들릴 수 있는 단점이 있고 이런 부분에 있어서 다양한 음색을 내는 악기나 음악에 대해선 약하게 보일 수 있다는 점이 아쉽습니다. (앰프 출력도 낮다는 점이 한몫을 하는 것 같습니다.)
그래도 10만 원대 스피커로 치자면 모노 스피커급에서 최고의 퀄리티를 음악을 즐길 수 있을 거라 생각됩니다. 만약에 2개를 구입해서 쓰신다면 스테레오 스피커로도 활용 가능 한 점 참고하면 좋을 것 같습니다.
However, if you turn up the volume a little and listen, you may hear a chirping sound, and it is unfortunate that in this area, it may seem weak to instruments or music that have a variety of tones. (The low amp output also seems to play a part.) Still, if you use a speaker in the 100,000 won range, I think you will be able to enjoy the best quality music in a mono speaker level. If you buy two and use them, it would be good to note that they can also be used as stereo speakers.

총평 | 10만원대 갓성비 네트워크 스피커
쉼포니스트는 분명 10만 원대 스피커에서 제공하는 기대 이상의 퀄리티의 음질은 낼 수 있다는 장점이 있는 스피커입니다. 이 말은 즉슨 스피커의 본질을 충분히 따르고 만들었다는 얘기이기도 하죠. 하지만 블루투스가 지원하지 않는다는 점 그리고 추가 액세서리를 구입해야 한다는 부담감 구글 어시스턴트를 국내에서 제공하지 않는 점은 아쉽게 다가옵니다. 하지만 이케아 제품으로서 실용적이고 심플한 디자인과 기본을 담은 스피커라는 점은 충분히 구입 가치가 있는 제품이라 생각됩니다.
Shimponist is a speaker that has the advantage of being able to produce sound quality that exceeds expectations provided by speakers in the 100,000 won range. This also means that it has been made after fully following the essence of the speaker. However, the fact that Bluetooth does not support it and the burden of having to purchase additional accessories is unfortunate that Google Assistant is not provided in Korea. However, as an IKEA product, the fact that it is a speaker with a practical, simple design and basics is a product worth purchasing.
